All you can eat style sushi restaurant with some unique dishes. Very attentive staff with speedy service. The interior is clean and organized. Some food items taste better than others but overall it's a good experience.

First time here! The hostess was a bit rude, we came in at 9:30pm and weren't even greeted, she led us to our booth, blatantly said "Last call is at 10:15" and walked away. Though it started off a little rough, our waitress was like a rainbow in our eyes! Immediately flipped the mood. Katelyn was incredibly courteous and I enjoyed her energy so much. Despite coming an hour before closing she did not act inconvenienced or showed annoyance like the hostess, she was kind enough to ask if it was our first time, explained the menu and how the AYCE worked. She was very detail oriented, even when bringing out our ginger she noticed one part of it was hanging off and touching the tray so she went out of her way to announce that and to remove it. In the middle of ordering our food came INSTANTLY! We were surprised at how fast food was served, my date night here was incredible, and the rest of the staff were so nice and picked up our empty dishes on time. Sashimi and the rolls here were amazing! Katelyn also gave her recommendations as well. I appreciate her so much! Excellent food! For about $50/person (including tax and tip), we were able to have AYCE sushi and appetizers. There is a large selection of appetizers including fried and cold. All were freshly made and came out relatively quick. A lot of the items were pretty standard, but the aged tofu, baked mussels, and garlic thai chili Escolar were pretty unique. Sushi was very fresh and delicious. They have all your usual, but I especially liked that they had a selection of seared nigiris as well which are quite novel for AYCE. The whole restaurant is very clean with 2 stories and plenty of seating. Servers were very fast. My only criticisms are that the wasabi is the imitation kind, straight from a tube, the fatty tuna (toro) came in a Gunkan shape (instead of nigiri), and there could maybe be a larger selection of desserts. Overall however, great restaurant and a step above your typical AYCE sushi.

I recently visited Oma Sushi in Sugar Land and had a really good experience. The restaurant was clean, modern, and had a comfortable atmosphere. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive throughout the meal without being overly intrusive. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. I tried a few different rolls, and each one had good flavor and quality ingredients. The fish tasted fresh, and the presentation was nice. I also ordered an appetizer and a bowl of miso soup, which were both enjoyable and arrived quickly. One thing I appreciated was the variety on the menu. Whether you like traditional sushi or specialty rolls, there are plenty of options to choose from. The portions were reasonable, and the prices felt fair considering the quality of the food. Service was efficient, and our food came out in a timely manner even though the restaurant was fairly busy. The overall dining experience was pleasant and relaxing. I would definitely recommend Oma Sushi to anyone looking for good sushi in the Sugar Land area. This is my favorite sushi place in all Houston! The food is good, fresh and there’s variety. The service is good too. The AYCE is a good deal as you can try things like Toro and steak, the more expensive stuff is limited quantity for AYCE but I don’t think it’s inconvenient. The ambiance is pretty nice too and there’s 2 floors. You can also sit outside with the lake view.
